I had a magical moment while painting this piece. Just after finishing the dragonfly, a real one flew into my studio, circling the painting before quietly departing. I always take these synchronicities as gentle confirmations that I'm on the right path.
Titled 'In Between Worlds', this is one of the largest works in my New Earth exhibition. It explores the presence of the leopard and other sentient species, and their deep, instinctive bond with humans — a reminder of our shared wisdom, wildness, and wonder.
The New Earth series sought to offer a hopeful vision of our times — a pivotal era in which we move toward balance and unity, restoring harmony on the planet and awakening a more conscious, interconnected way of being.
