Butterflies feature heavily in my paintings. The fleeting wonder of their flutter, their captivating beauty, their symbolism of transformation and rebirth. They’re such a joy to behold.
‘Wings of Transformation’ features the stunning monarch butterfly. To many cultures, monarchs hold a special meaning. In Mexico they're symbolic of our connection to the dead, and in indigenous folklore they're believed to carry the souls of our ancestors from the afterlife.
In this painting I've tried to capture their majestic beauty as spirit animals, guardians, and the guides of our soul's journey on this Earth plane.
